Game Of Thrones has killed off many characters over the years, but at least one potential guest star on the Emmy-winning series won’t go down without a fight!

It’s been reported that UFC champ Conor McGregor is in talks to appear in one of the remaining two seasons of the fantasy hit!

According to The Sunday Life, the 28-year-old Dublin native was recruited by HBO to appear in an upcoming episode, as one of the directors is unsurprisingly a big UFC fan!

A source told the publication:

“It’s been agreed that McGregor will appear in one of the remaining two seasons of Game of Thrones. He was headhunted as it were by HBO, as one of the Game of Thrones directors is a huge UFC fan. They believed that he would be a perfect fit for the show.”

Any potential role for the MMA fighter is up for speculation, though his intimidating mug and combative Northern demeanor already make him a perfect Wildling.

Either way, McGregor already has experience facing off against some GoT adversaries.

Last year, he teamed up with Sir Gregor Clegane actor Hafpor Julius Bjornsson for an intense training session:

So, maybe the scrappy fighter will finally be the one to defeat The Mountain? (JK, that target has The Hound’s name all over it.)

McGregor added fuel to the rumors when he travelled to Belfast over the weekend for multiple appearances — where production just so happens to be currently filming season seven!

While there’s no official confirmation whether the Irish athlete will actually guest star, he’s gonna be pretty hard to kill off if he does!

‘Game Of Thrones’ Themed Wine Is Coming, Yasss Queen Cersei

HBO is trying to make your holidays tolerable by releasing -themed wine. Yasss, Queen Cersei.

A California-based winery, Vintage Wine Estates, is pairing with the HBO hit to release a trio of red blend, Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay wines, ranging from $19.99 to $39.99. So it’s a little pricey, but probs justified if you envision drinking said bottle of wine in the company of Jon Snow.

Seeing as GoT has already released a show-themed beer, it makes total sense to produce a line of Cersei and Tyrion’s fav beverage.

So basically, when you’re bracing for millions of people to be brutally murdered on television, you can at least numb the pain with a great glass of wine. It’s what Tyrion Lannister would want.
