Heads up, “Game of Thrones” fans … After you’ve opened up your gifts and eaten all the holiday cookies, you’ll still have something to look forward to this season.
Winter is coming to HBO in the form of a “GoT” post-Christmas marathon.
HBO announced Wednesday that it will air every “Game of Thrones” episode in order between Dec. 26 and 31. Which means you can watch the show to your heart’s content.
Of course, the series is also available on HBO Go, but for those who want to curl up on the couch and watch the drama unfold old-school binge-watch style, there will be hours upon hours of programming available.
Hopefully, the marathon will help hold fans over until summer 2017. That’s when Season 7 will debut, a little later than the show’s usual spring premiere. Production has already kicked off on what’s expected to be just seven episodes instead of the series’ typical 10.

The family of a 13-year-old autistic girl says she has been threatened with legal action by HBO after she uploaded a Game of Thrones-inspired piece of artwork on the website RedBubble.
According to The Sun, Felicity Wilcox received a scary email from lawyers at HBO claiming her art breached copyright.
Wilcoxs artwork included the shows slogan Winter is coming above her design. Her father released a statement to The Sun about the alleged backlash from the network.
HBO should get a life… My daughter who happens to be autistic, was doing an art challenge called Huevember. It consisted of doing a piece of art based on a different color as you worked your way round a color wheel. She was uploading her pictures to a variety of sites and sharing them on Facebook. For this particular piece she decided to title it Winter is Coming.
Her artwork has since been republished without the slogan.
HBO did not return FOX411s request for comment.

Veteran British actor Peter Vaughan died Tuesday. He was 93.
The actor played Maester Aemon in the HBO hit series “Game of Thrones” from 2011-2015.
“This is to confirm that very sadly Peter Vaughan passed away at approximately 10:30 this morning,” the actor’s longtime agent, Sally Long-Innes, told the BBC. “He died peacefully with his family around him.”
Vaughan’s career spanned over 75 years. His notable works include the 1967 Frank Sinatra film “The Naked Runner.” He is also known for his work in the British sitcoms “Porridge,” “Citizen Smith,” “Chancer” and “Our Friends in the North.”
Born Peter Ohm in the central England county of Shropshire, Vaughan was married first to the late actress Billie Whitelaw, and then to Lillias Walker, who survives him.

Game Of Thrones has killed off many characters over the years, but at least one potential guest star on the Emmy-winning series won’t go down without a fight!
It’s been reported that UFC champ Conor McGregor is in talks to appear in one of the remaining two seasons of the fantasy hit!

According to The Sunday Life, the 28-year-old Dublin native was recruited by HBO to appear in an upcoming episode, as one of the directors is unsurprisingly a big UFC fan!
A source told the publication:
“It’s been agreed that McGregor will appear in one of the remaining two seasons of Game of Thrones. He was headhunted as it were by HBO, as one of the Game of Thrones directors is a huge UFC fan. They believed that he would be a perfect fit for the show.”
Any potential role for the MMA fighter is up for speculation, though his intimidating mug and combative Northern demeanor already make him a perfect Wildling.
Either way, McGregor already has experience facing off against some GoT adversaries.
Last year, he teamed up with Sir Gregor Clegane actor Hafpor Julius Bjornsson for an intense training session:

McGregor added fuel to the rumors when he travelled to Belfast over the weekend for multiple appearances — where production just so happens to be currently filming season seven!
While there’s no official confirmation whether the Irish athlete will actually guest star, he’s gonna be pretty hard to kill off if he does!

HBO is trying to make your holidays tolerable by releasing -themed wine. Yasss, Queen Cersei.
A California-based winery, Vintage Wine Estates, is pairing with the HBO hit to release a trio of red blend, Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay wines, ranging from $19.99 to $39.99. So it’s a little pricey, but probs justified if you envision drinking said bottle of wine in the company of Jon Snow.
Seeing as GoT has already released a show-themed beer, it makes total sense to produce a line of Cersei and Tyrion’s fav beverage.

So basically, when you’re bracing for millions of people to be brutally murdered on television, you can at least numb the pain with a great glass of wine. It’s what Tyrion Lannister would want.
